The Story
The history of the snaplock clicker
The Snap lock clicker was designed by Tribal Made A professional Piercing jewelry company, the design and pending patent was inspired from traditional jewelry floating around in our industry in one form or another. Though has never quite fit the bill to Make it a professional piece of jewelry till now......
In start of 2016.....
We started designing the original concept
- it had to be made out of Grade 23 "implant grade" titanium all the way through.......
- It had to have a long enough wearable length for a fresh or healed piercing (just over 3/8 inch)
- It had to be laser welding, to provide a "gap free" surface so bacteria could not collect.
- The design then allows for the tension on the bar to be adjusted up or down, by simply pushing up or down with your finger. This allows "pending pending" for the locking mechanism to provide more or less locking.
- providing a secure "snap when it is in locked in position"
